Enkande Youth Camp Graduates 50 Young Leaders

The Enkande Youth Camp has successfully graduated 50 young leaders from across Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom, equipped with cultural knowledge and life skills to serve their communities.

About Enkande

Enkande (engeso n'obuzaaraanwa bwa Bunyoro) is a nurturing and mentorship camp that uses cultural heritage and positive traditions to shape young people towards sustainable development.

What Participants Learned

Over the intensive camp period, participants engaged in: - Traditional Bunyoro dances and music - Cultural etiquette and values - Life skills and personal development - Health and hygiene education - Leadership and community service

Graduation Ceremony

The graduation ceremony was graced by Her Royal Highness, The Omugo, who encouraged the graduates to apply their learning in their daily lives and become ambassadors of positive change in their communities.

Looking Forward

These graduates will now return to their villages as youth leaders, helping to spread cultural awareness and mentor younger community members. ODF plans to conduct more Enkande camps throughout the year.
