About This Program
ODF organizes annual health camps in the different districts of Bunyoro sub-region to extend health services towards the local communities. The event is also organized with the objective of creating awareness on prevailing health issues, and available health services amongst the people.
The community is provided with free medical consultation services including cervical, prostate and breast cancer screening, dental and eyecare services. The event also focuses on blood donation, HIV/AIDS testing and counselling, fistula awareness and other conditions like down syndrome awareness.
The second and third editions of the health camp were held in May 2023 and 2024 in Buliisa and Kakumiro Districts respectively. These camps have reached over 3,000 community members with free health screenings and medical consultations.
